The Story of Heritage Street Foods
My name is Tata and I'm just like any other traveler. You can tell where I have been by the wear on my leather sandals and I never really know where I'm headed next. As someone who has explored many corners of the world and gotten to enjoy foods from almost every continent, I can confidently say that I am a lover of flavors and quality ingredients. From the Kreta Ayer Wet Market in Singapore, to the Grand Bazaar in Turkey, all the way to the Manaus Municipal Market in Brazil, I have backpacked through many small and large cities to gain the deep appreciation for foods that I have today.
When I traveled down to Central America and mainly into regions of Mexico, I discovered the great taste of corn on the cob chips and was inspired to bring them back to the states. They embody a flavor and texture that goes back for generations and is truly authentic. It's the sunflower seed oil and the hearty corn that make these chips so crispy and great for anyone who wants a taste of real Mexican tortilla chips.
